Halo custom edition map pack 2

HaloMaps v1: Map PackThis Halo map pack was the first of its kind and a huge breakthrough in the modding community. The maps that have been converted here are mostly from Halo PC. If you noticed when Halo was released on the Xbox it has 13 playable maps available for multiplayer. When Gearbox released Halo PC they had 19 multiplayer maps which left the Xbox version 6 short.

These 6 maps were best known as Danger Canyon, Death Island, Gephyrophobia, Ice fields, Infinity, & Timberland. The other 7 maps were single player bsp conversions except for a massively tweaked Bloodgulch and a map called Camtrack which was from Halo CE. All maps are playable via.Special ThanksI would like to thank CLuis, Juggalo 420, Temugen and ViperNeo (god rest his soul) for helping me. These guys have worked along side me for a year and a half on this project.

I hope everyone enjoys the hard work that went into making this. Download coming soon.

HaloMaps v2: Map PackI like to introduce HaloMaps v2, yes it’s finally here! This project has been in the works for well over a year. I have to say the only reason I thought about or even went about doing v2 was because of all the outstanding responses I got from the v1.

I settle for nothing less than perfection. Like I’ve said from day one, if it doesn’t look as if Bungie did it then it’s not worth releasing! Even when I started getting stressed out working on maps I always remember my community!

You guys have made HaloMaps what it is. I would also like to thank everyone in my community for their patience. I know this was a long drawn out process, but sometimes real life gets in the way and that takes priority. I hope everyone enjoys the second installment. All the maps that I have converted to Xbox will be visually the same because they are not scenery conversions, they are actual BSP conversions. Also, nothing placement wise is the same, I wiped out all the maps internally and started from “scratch”, meaning after I converted all these maps I wiped everything out from Vehicles, Scenery, Weapons, Starting Weapons, Player Spawns, MP Flags (game types), MP Equipment, and redid everything my way. I basically kept everything to a science when it came down to the size and layout of the maps.

Most of the maps I didn’t feel as if they were balanced correctly. So things took me a bit longer than expected this time around.

I do apologize, but sometimes that comes with the territory. Now it’s time to blow up the XBConnect and XLink Kai Servers!Special ThanksI would also like to thank the HaloMaps Team Cluis, Juggalo 420, Lightning and Temugen. You guys were a huge help to me through out this entire process. Thank you so much for all your hard work and dedication. We release nothing but the best. Download coming soon.

Having just hit the milestone of serving 1,000,000 maps via HAC’s in-game downloader and serving well over 100,000 maps/month, it seems like a fitting time for a rundown of the most popular maps. Bigass v2,104.

Coldsnap. Ambush. Yoyorast Island.

Delta Ruins. H2 Ascension. Hugeass. H3 Bloodgulch. (see note).

CMT Snow Grove. Extinction. Immure. ZTeam’s Sanctuary H2 PB2.

HSP The Pit. H3 Valhalla. H3 Foundry.

Corrupted. Helix Canyon. Garden CE. The Floods. Haloball.Bigass v2,072 is ranked #8 if you included maps which have had multiple test versions released.

The Halo 4 medal pack has had slight adjustments to its animations and the audio files have been replaced with the high-quality originals rather than lower quality recordings than were previously used. The Halo 3 medal pack received a small change to its script to correct an oversight (perfection can no longer be attained after a suicide or a betrayal) and a single sound file replacement. You can download the Halo 4 medal pack and the Halo 3 pack. See if you need instructions on installing the packs. Fixes:. Windows XP users will now be able to see the custom chat, although it’ll use an installed typeface rather than the featured one. This bug is caused by Windows XP itself and there isn’t a suitable workaround (apart from getting a newer OS), although you’ll be able to select your own typeface at some point in the future.

Some maps could cause the game to crash after downloading. This was a regression (plain English: it worked, then I broke it) introduced in the January update. Forgetting to use an option (0/1/true/false) with customchat will no longer cause a crash.Additions:. Medals.Medals:This update introduces a Lua scriptable medal system.

To get the ball rolling, I’ve provided three example medal packs (click to download);,. To install a medal pack, simply download it to your HAC folder under the ‘packs’ directory (create it if it doesn’t exist) but do not extract it. For example:Halo PC: C:UsersYourUsernameDocumentsMy GamesHalohacpacksHalo CE: C:UsersYourUsernameDocumentsMy GamesHalo CEhacpacksIf we installed the Halo Reach pack to our CE HAC folder, it’d look like this:C:UsersYourUsernameDocumentsMy GamesHalo CEhacpackshaloreach.zipYou can then use the following commands:. optic – display all available medal packs. optic load – load a medal pack. For example, optic load halo4. optic unload - stop the medal system.

You do not need to use unload to simply load another pack. The optic load command only needs to be used once. HAC will remember your preference for the next time you start the game.Creating your own medal packs:Although you’re welcome to open the provided medal packs to see how I’ve done things, documentation will be forthcoming (next week, ideally).Troubleshooting:If you encounter any problems with using Optic, please see the.Enjoy! Changes:.

HAC and OpenSauce are once again compatible. Fixed an error that could prevent customchat 1 from working (“Unable to load font!”). Fixed a HUD issue where the game type icon wasn’t being scaled correctly on extremely wide resolutions. Added a new command, fontsize, that can be used to control the custom chat size. Example: fontsize 30.Known issues:. HAC no longer loads on WINE.

Halo Custom Edition Key Code

I’m still looking into this. Corrupt chat text on low-end graphics hardware. May not be able to solve this without access to a machine experiencing the problem. Changes:. Fixed a bug in HAC’s crash handler that was causing some crashes to be falsely attributed to HAC. Added more detailed error feedback for the customchat 1 command. Fixed a bug that could potentially cause a crash when launching/maximising the game.Compatibility notes:.

OpenSauce and HAC 2 are currently incompatible. Power bi convert utc to local time. A solution is being worked on, so hold tight. Optic may have compatibility issues on some systems. A solution is being worked on.

Halo Chat V2 won’t work if customchat 1 is being used (and vice versa). This isn’t considered to be a bug, so there are no plans to fix this.
