Also if you had to change any bios settings in the past to get something to work you might check to see if they returned to default for some reason.Saved games are stored in My DocumentsGTA Vice City User files. Might be a slight chance your paging file is located on a bad area of the drive.

Hi!I bought GTA: Vice City on Steam. It won't launch. It comes up with 'Unhandled Exception: c0000005. At address: 006f6330.' I've browsed old forums across the web and many have had the same issue. It seems like everyone except for me has been able to solve the issue.I've tried testing out different compatibility modes, running as an admin, doing the Data Execution Prevention thing, reinstalling the game, reinstalling Steam, and trying in another resolution.Nothing seems to work, though other people have found success with the DEP method.I have Windows 8.
