What's also new, is that Lost Alpha has a new launcher, which will greatly improve the experience of managing the game and the mods. Keen eyes will also notice new shaders, and a new map based on an old GSC concept of 'Level 12'. This is also partially a sad occasion, because as of this version, the development of Lost Alpha as we know it ceases. A small 'international' garage-company established in early 2007 to create free add-ons and mods. Currently we are working on our. As for Lost Alpha, that message was just from one of the devs who is quitting. A public beta of Lost Alpha will be released in August, and it might not have all the features. However they plan to add the rest of the features later on.

So no worries, Lost Alpha might not be complete and 100% stable in August but eventually it will be.- EDIT: Now a full release is at the end of September. Also for the heck of it I marked up the map and tried to identify every location. Here's what I came up with.1.

Rostok Factory4. Garbage vehicle scrapyard, part of the Garbage6. Dark Valley8. Army Warehouses11. Red Forest/Radar14. Desolated Factory16. GeneratorsLooks like Construction Site is not on the map, therefore it is outdated.

Aside from this, the other 8 levels are all underground locations. Nitenumber 8 is Wild Territory (or known as Rostok) and Barnumber 12 is Black Marshand yes 13 is Red Forest (also known as Radar) thats the one that was in the alpha build cause I regoznize the layoutnumber 18 to me looks like yantar. I dunno why it was moved way up thier.Yes Wild Territory is part of Rostok. In Lost Alpha it's all one map again, like in the alpha builds.

#12 is Swamps or Swamp, Black Marsh is just STALKERSOUP's name for it while Lost Alpha will use original name for it. I figured I was right about #13, thankfully they said it isn't as small as the alpha version. #18 isn't Yantar, it's Desolated Factory which is based off of the original Yantar factory, which is why it looks the same.- EDIT: Look at #5. Looks the same as this, except rotated. They suggested at legal issues, but we'll see soon as they're going to make an announcement today.I've been ready for LA for so long, it pains me. Hopefully we'll see it late Sep. I can't take anymore of STALKER Soup. One day I hope that'll get fixed for good. They pretty much confirmed that it's no longer scheduled for September. Hopefully they clarify soon, I can't help but think that GSC's CEO is trying to further butcher the game franchise.

STALKERSOUP is a good effort, but I doubt it will ever be stable. It just changes too many things and he can't rewrite the engine. It will still be much better then Valves 'Failed' version of HL1: Source. NiteboredgunnerNiteboredgunnerDouble post is required: now they're saying it might be delayed until Q4. I bought stalker COP during the steam sale and its on my list of games to play but havent gotten to it yet. Ive heard really good things about the stalker series though. I will have to keep my eye on lost alpha if i enjoy COP.Since you have COP, be sure to check out Misery, its the best total conversion mod available for it.I also suggest you get Shadow of Chernobyl cause thats really the best one out of the 3 stalker games, and has the most mods available for it. Start with SoC, then CS then CoP, or skip CS if you want. BoredgunnerNiteneal0790Ive never played a stalker game. I remember debating on what to buy and thought i went with CoP but i guess i decided on SoC. From your responses looks like i made the right choice. Stalker Complete fixes a lot of bugs, improves the graphics, creates a more real time environment (the nights get very dark), provides a sleeping bag for sleeping, and enhances many other aspects of the game. One of the best things about STALKER Complete is that it doesn't change the way the game is played, except it does allow the player to carry 10kg of extra weight, which can come in handy at times.

Gitanjali pdf in hindi. ^ Complete makes it a bit too easy, adding a ridiculous weight limit (go try sprinting around with 132 pounds on your back for 5 minutes straight, then rest for 30 seconds and do it again) and reducing AI awareness. But it's nothing series, it is definitely the best mod for anyone looking for a drop-in improved SoC experience.Though if you want to put in a bit more work for a much better experience, use Oblivion Lost + Complete (or STALKERSOUP) shaders + Complete textures (don't overwrite any) + Photorealistic Zone textures (all but wood and terrain) + Absolute Nature makes SoC pretty much perfect. Like Complete, this will drastically improve visuals, but also add necessary gameplay mechanics such as sleep function, some new guns, plus mutants that were cut from the game. It also improves A-Life, increasing the amount of mutants and making the Zone much more dangerous.

Emissions were added back and they change anomaly spawns like they're supposed to. It's not a bad idea to play this instead of the unmodded game, though if you play it unmodded first, you'd appreciate the mod much more.
