Why Wont My Brightness Change
I can't adjust my screen brightness. The slider does nothing. I've restarted my device, and whatever brightness it sets to automatically upon startup, it stays at. It set itself to max brightness once and stayed like that. This time, it set itself to a more reasonable brightness, but I still can't change it. Can anyone help?

Have you tried rebooting? Have you changed any startup programs? Can you change it before Windows boots?

That is, when you turn it on/reboot, you should see a Dell logo or something before you see the Windows logo, try pressing Pause several times before you see the Windows logo and see if you can adjust the back-light there. Also, try quickly pressing F8 several times before the Windows logo to get to the Windows boot menu, then see if you can adjust the brightness there.
